RP-038 and RP-138 Rake /Eave Plate Price Increase
BRS mentioned in our November 5, 2019 “New and Improved” blog, the “old style” existing slotted rake/eave plate parts will be retired effective December 31, 2020. We also mentioned that quarterly step price adjustments will occur throughout 2020 as demand of the RP-038 and RP-138 dwindles. Therefore, the second 8% price increase for these slotted rake parts will occur on all orders placed on or after March 31, 2020 then shipped later than April 6, 2020.
BRS has developed specialty shaped “L” and modified “Z” shaped High Capacity Rake plates that can be utilized as a rake starter angle in lieu of using starter clips. For any licensee that wishes to modify their current rake starter panel detail to incorporate the specialty High Capacity rake plate as a support angle, please contact the BRS office for detail design assistance. BRS recommends those license holders that have not transitioned or incorporated the patented High Capacity Rake and new eave plates into their standard details to do so at their earliest convenience.
