Cody Rodden

President. Cody has 40 plus years of experience and expertise from the metal building industry. Prior to arriving at BRS, he spent seven years as a licensee with Alliance Steel, Inc as the Component/Architectural Roofing Sales Manager and Vice President of Warranty Services. Prior to that, Cody spent 23 1/2 years with MBCI as Regional Manager-North Texas, then Sales Manager-Oklahoma City. While working full time, Cody attended 10 years in night school to earn an Associates Liberal Arts Degree from Tarrant County Junior College, then receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. This educational night school/full time working decade plan included attending the University of Houston during his 2-year stint as a sales/plant manager for Mizell Brothers Company before finishing up at UTA. Cody and his wife Linda reside in Edmond, Oklahoma. They are the proud parents of a daughter and a son, grandparents of two grandsons and one granddaughter.

Trey Herren

Trey Herren

Vice President. Trey has been with BRS since 2007 and is an industry veteran of over 25 plus years. He first worked for Star Building Systems and operated as a proud member of our US military serving seven years in the Oklahoma National Guard. Originally from Norman, Oklahoma, he graduated from the Moore-Norman Technology Center.  He is a member of Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) and serves on the committee for Insurance & Fire Related Matters. Trey possesses great organization, industry insight  which helps him showcase his excellent leadership skills. He assists BRS customers with technical questions concerning applications, design and testing. His niche is working with AutoCAD, Inventor and drawing and designing new products. Trey and his wife Mary, reside in Newcastle, Okla. His weekend passions include golfing, hunting and now working on his families’ heritage farm in northern Oklahoma.

Richard Starks

Richard G Starks, Jr PE

Vice President Engineering & Product Development. Richard is a Licensed Professional Engineer with 20 plus years of experience in the metal building industry. Richard is originally from Savannah, Georgia. After he moved to Oklahoma, he worked his way through school earning a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structures from the University of Oklahoma. He spent 10 years with Star Building Systems as a Sales Engineer and a Product Development Engineer.  He is a member of Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) where he serves on the technical and energy committees, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Oklahoma Structural Engineer’s Association (OSEA). Richard brings a wealth of industry knowledge and creativity to our company which translates into high quality and innovative products. He is also responsible for product testing, certification and forensic analysis.  Richard enjoys hunting and fishing in his time away from BRS.  He really enjoys bird hunting with his personally trained German Shorthaired Pointer bird dogs. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Lanina which they have two grown boys. They are proud grandparents to four grandsons.

CJ Price

CJ Price

Administrative Assistant. CJ has been with the company from the beginning in 1998. She has over 17 plus years of experience handling the company’s finances, billing and payroll.  Prior to this, CJ was a manager for Insurance Temporary Services of Oklahoma City. She now manages all the accounts receivables and payables. Her loyalty and eye for detail has made her an outstanding employee and a great addition to the BRS team, providing superb service to all our licensees, strategic partners and other customers. Away from the office CJ and her husband, Bob like to travel and garden together. They reside in Edmond, Oklahoma. In CJ’s free time she enjoys crocheting and reading books. 

Ted Neyer

Chief Operating Officer. Ted plays an active role in operational product/project management, analytical analysis, leadership development, strategic financial planning and assisting with inside sales administration. Mr. Neyer is currently a member of the Board of Directors.

With a thirty-four-year career in the high technology electronics industry, the last twenty-two years in supercomputing as a senior operations manager with Tera/Cray Inc/Hewlett Packard Enterprises, Neyer has become an expert in business analysis, product/project management, financial costing, team building, and leadership development.
